The Department of Rubber and Plastics Technology, MIT Campus, Anna University, Chennai has completed 25 years of its existence and celebrating its Silver Jubilee Year. As a part of its Silver Jubilee function, the Department is planning to organize a two day International Workshop on â€Rubber Product Design and Failure Analysis†on 9 and 10^th August 2013, at MIT Campus, Chromepet,Chennai 600044.

The workshop is jointly organized by the Department of Rubber and Plastics Technology and Center for International Affairs, Anna University and in association with Indian Rubber Institute (IRI) and All India Rubber Manufactures Association (AIRIA).The targeted participants will be from Rubber Industries, Automotive Industries, Research Organization and students.

Professor M.Ranaganthan, University of Tours, France, and an Overseas Professor of Anna University will be delivering four Technical lectures. The other technical speakers will be from Research Organizations, Universities and Industries from India.
